KN Office Celebrations Show
Creativity, Camaraderie

We knew already that KN's offices know how to celebrate in style – but they keep upping the ante. In Chicago, the KN team enjoyed an architectural tour of their fair city, traveling for 90 minutes on the Wendella boat cruise on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. The boat departed at 4pm, and they had an open bar for snacks and drinks (hot chocolate & Bailey's was a popular drink choice, because the winds that day made it pretty chilly). Refreshments followed at the Bridge House Tavern, located just a few blocks from where the boat docked.

KN Conference wrapup

KN Participates in Key Media, Health Care Conferences

Our colleagues in both Pharma/Health Care and Media represented KN at several key industry conferences this fall.

ticeDave Tice of our Media team co-presented with Dr. Tom Evans of ESPN at this year's Radio Show, produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau and the National Association of Broadcasters. Their talk, "Audio: A Male Perspective into a Cross Platform Medium," delved into the use and attitudes towards audio delivered across multiple platforms. Held in Chicago, the conference boasted a record 2,200 registered attendees – up 24% from last year.

In addition, Dave appeared at the October Collaborative Alliance forum held in NYC at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill. Addressing an audience of several hundred, Dave discussed findings from the latest Home Technology Monitor report that highlights video streaming. Titled "Over the Top & Connected," Dave's presentation emphasized that "Over the top" (OTT) video viewing has grown dramatically in the past year across multiple platforms—notably smartphones, videogame consoles, and video rental services.

Members of the Pharma/Health Care team took part in Daiichi Sankyo's exclusive vendor fair on September 8. Selected vendors were on call at Daiichi's Parisippany offices, where they chatted with client representatives about our toolkit of capabilities.

Ugam Colleagues Take a Cross-Country KN Tour

Two of our valued Ugam team members, Shamim Saddiqi and Ajay Vasudevan, have spent the past week-and-a-half on a whirlwind tour of KN's offices. From New York to Roseland, Chicago, and Palo Alto, the pair have met dozens of their KN counterparts and been treated to a Broadway show ("Spider Man") and more. They had been hoping to encounter snow in Chicago – but we guess there must be some exceptions to prove the rules.
